Program Manager - APQP
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESEnsures the successful launch of new products and engineering changes from concept to production to meet customer needs.
SPECIFIC DUTIES Plans, coordinates, evaluates and executes the activities involved with the entire operations of specific products including development, testing, product quality, production, cost, scheduling and performance.
Support and lead customer meetings.
Responsible for leading weekly program and tech reviews with the project team.
Interfaces with all internal departments working on project to keep up to date on the project status and ensure timely completion of project.
Ensure proper coordination and communication of the team on all assigned projects.
Coordinate and communicate all internal and external build milestones with the project team, affected departments and management.
Manage and maintain project finances to be in line with approved spending.
Maintain APQP documents and ERP system with the most up to date information.
Manage all engineering changes with support from APQP Coordinator and other departments.
Ensure all aspects of APQP are met for each gate review.
Develop capital expenditure request (CER) with the Director of Engineering for new capital.
Ensure team is following purchasing standards.
Works in the most efficient manner to meet and exceed all established corporate goals.
Assists in analyzing and resolving work problems.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Consistently adhere to, and support, policies and procedures, including ISO, and safety regulations.
Consistently exhibit appropriate attendance habits, working the hours necessary to perform the job.
Organize and maintain efficiency of personal work area.
Give and accept instructions and duties in a positive manner, treating all co-workers with dignity and respect.
Performs related duties as assigned.
