Position OverviewCoordinates activities of the Quality Control Department with primary objective of delivering a uniform quality product.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Safety Lead and coordinate implementation of QC Plan/QSM Make sure AMRL testing is being completed and submitted Make sure QSM is up to date and calibrations are complete Communicate with QC Technical Director and Field QC Techs Direct, Develop, and Coach QC Lead Techs, Lab Tech's Train Leads and Tech's MDOT paperwork and how to submit Serve as a role model in leadership, teamwork, and customer focus to align with Company goals Making sure every plant is covered on a daily basis according to workload QC Plan submittal Provide internal and external technical support Communicating with Local and State Municipalities Qualifications High school diploma Minimum of 5 years' experience as Quality Control Lead Tech Strong computer and mathematical skills and problem solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills with all levels of organization Manufacturing of Asphalt/Aggregate knowledge QA/QC MDOT Certification Strong attention to detail Able to develop solutions to key problems with little direction Knowledge/Skill Requirements Action OrientedEnjoys working hard; is action oriented and full of energy for the things he/she sees as challenging; not fearful of acting with a minimum of planning; seizes more opportunities than others.
